Boltech Training Institute is a premier technical college in Kenya and East Africa, widely recognized for its practical, hands-on training and quality programs in electronics and business-related fields. The institute was founded in 2014 by Engineer Bolton Majale, a visionary telecommunications and IT consultant, whose passion for technical empowerment led him to create a platform where young people could gain market-relevant skills. Engineer Majale, having experienced firsthand the challenges of accessing quality technical training in Kenya, was determined to bridge the skills gap in the rapidly growing electronics industry. With this goal, he established Boltech as a center of excellence in handheld electronics, especially mobile phone repair and maintenance, which remains the institute’s core program. This course covers both hardware and software aspects, and has gained widespread demand due to the global shortage of skilled technicians. Since its inception, Boltech has trained thousands of students across Kenya and the East African region. Under Engineer Majale’s leadership, the institute continues to expand its programs in computer repair, general electronics, and entrepreneurial training, ensuring that students not only gain technical competence but also business acumen.   Boltech’s mission is to deliver relevant, hands-on training that empowers students to create careers and businesses, contributing meaningfully to their communities and economies.
